1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. MyGens uses as few as it can.

2. Essential cookies (always on)

Needed for the site to work; they cannot be switched off:

• sessionid: keeps you signed in and keeps your sizing progress. Ends with your session or after 2 weeks.
• csrftoken: protects forms against forgery. 1 year.
• mg_device: links your free support session, sizing estimate and quote request to this device, without an account. 1 year.
• mg_cookie_consent: remembers your cookie choice. 6 months.

We also store small preferences in your browser (for example the step you were on in the sizing wizard, or that you closed a popup). They never leave your device.

3. Advertising cookies (only with your OK)

If you choose Accept all, we load the Meta Pixel (cookies such as _fbp) and Google Ads (cookies such as _gcl_au) to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. These companies process the data under their own privacy policies. If you choose Essential only, these tags are never loaded.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising cookies.

4. Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings (also in the footer) at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
