Insert the approved Y-harness between the equipment connector and original controller; GenLink only observes the signals.
Connect GenLink, scan with the app using Bluetooth, choose site Wi-Fi and configure 12/24 V, input assignments and initial hours.

Designed for DIY installation in minutes with the correct harness. No tools required for supported installations.

No. GenLink is $199 and works without a mandatory monthly fee. Predictive alerts are optional at $2.99/month.

Does it replace my controller?

No. The Y-harness preserves the original controller’s control and protection functions.

Does it need a SIM card?

No. GenLink uses Wi-Fi available at the installation site.

What happens if Wi-Fi goes down?

Remote updates pause; GenLink stores samples locally within memory limits and sends them after connectivity returns.

Can I install it myself?

It is designed for DIY installation with the correct harness and supported equipment, following the installation instructions.

Will it tell me exactly when my generator will fail?

No. Predictive alerts identify trends that may justify inspection; they do not guarantee failure predictions.

Can I cancel the $2.99 plan?
